About this copy

This is the first English edition of a lavishly illustrated travel guide to Egypt by photographer Abbas Chalaby. Originally published in Italian by Casa Editrice Bonechi, the 1989 English translation features 184 vibrant colour photographs documenting landscapes, monuments, temples, and archaeological sites. Translated by Susan Jane Fraser and edited by Giovanna Magi.

Bound in boards with photographic cover. No dust jacket (original as published).

Condition

Book
Very Good – The boards show light edge wear and minor rubbing consistent with age and shelf use. The spine is straight, intact, and unmarked. Text block is solidly bound and bright throughout. Pages are clean and crisp with no markings or damage. The colour photography remains vibrant.

This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
