About this copy
This is the 1955 collected edition of Zuckmayer's short stories, gathering nine tales including "Der Seelenbräu" and "Die wandernden Hütten." The copyright page states "Sechstes bis zehntes Tausend" (6th–10th thousand), indicating this copy is from a later printing within the 1955 run rather than the first printing. The dust jacket design is credited to Wolfgang Moller.
Red cloth hardcover binding in original illustrated dust jacket. A clipping with publisher's blurb about the book is laid in at the front.
Condition
- Book
- Good – clean, tight text block; red cloth boards and spine show light shelf wear; pencil price notations on the front endpaper.
- Dust jacket
- Fair – notable wear with small losses and chipping at the spine ends and corners, edge wear and tears, and sunning/fading to the yellow panel, especially along the edges.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
