About this copy

This is an anthology of twelve original crime short stories, each set at a historic Scottish site, written for Historic Environment Scotland by a line-up of well-known contemporary Scottish crime writers. The copyright page notes the book was printed by Clays Ltd as a 'second run', so this copy represents a later print rather than the earliest printing. The book has no dust jacket - it is bound in pictorial printed boards with the blood-splatter cover design and price printed directly onto the board, as issued for this edition.

Condition

Book
Good – a sound, previously-owned reading copy. There is a small tear/fray at the top of the spine cloth and light bumping to the corners. A former shop price sticker is present on the rear board. No inscriptions or markings inside.

This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
