About this copy

This is the first paperback printing of Barmy, originally published in hardback by Methuen in 1987. The copyright page confirms: 'First published in Great Britain in 1987 by Methuen London Ltd. This paperback edition published 1988.' No further reprint line is stated, so this copy represents the first paperback issue.

A softcover 'Methuen Paperback' with cover photographs by Brian Moody, originally priced £3.95 net (UK only), as printed on the back cover.

Condition

Book
Good – a well-read paperback copy showing rubbing and wear to the spine ends and corners, with a crease visible along the spine on the front cover. The text block is clean and complete. There is a handwritten gift inscription in blue ink on the front free endpaper, dated Christmas 1988, from a previous owner to friends - this is not an author signature.

This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
