The copyright page gives the full history: first published 1908, first published in the Abinger Edition 1977 by Edward Arnold, and this edition published 1987 by Book Club Associates. The introduction and editorial matter are by Oliver Stallybrass (copyright 1977).
Printed in Great Britain by St Edmundsbury Press Ltd. This copy has no dust jacket. The binding is red with gilt decorative borders and gilt spine lettering.

- Good – Binding appears sound. Light rubbing and surface marks on the rear board and some minor wear to the lower spine. Gilt and spine lettering are clean and legible. Pages appear clean in the photographs.
