About this copy
From one of Britain's most respected music writers comes a warm and witty celebration of the long-playing record. David Hepworth, a veteran of Smash Hits, Q, Mojo and The Word and a former presenter of The Old Grey Whistle Test, traces the golden era of the LP from the release of Sgt Pepper in 1967 to the arrival of Michael Jackson's Thriller. It is a love letter to the album, to the musicians who made it and to the listeners who carried them home.
A handsome first-edition-year hardback in its original dust jacket, with the bright orange band and striking cover photograph intact and the price of £20 printed on the flap. BOOK: Very Good. A tight, clean copy with a crisp text block and sound binding.
DUST JACKET: Good. Intact and bright, with light edge and corner wear consistent with handling. A pre-owned book; any wear beyond that described is minor and in keeping with its age.
